Saint Joseph: Preparing students for the future
Saint Joseph Catholic School has 400 students and more than 50 faculty, all working in a rigorous college prep curriculum designed to prepare students for life after high school. We offer a varied and challenging program that emphasizes academic excellence as well as spiritual, personal and social growth.
Honors programs in English and mathematics begin in the middle school and continue through 12th grade. Honors classes in science, history and foreign language are offered at the high school level. Students also can choose Advanced Placement courses in English, calculus, U.S. history, American government, biology, chemistry and physics.
Saint Joseph Catholic School, founded in 1870, is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) through Cognia (formerly AdvancEd). The school is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Jackson and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association.
Saint Joseph also holds membership in the Jackson Area Association of Independent Schools, the Mississippi High School Athletic Association, The National Association of Secondary School Principals and the National Association of Guidance Counselors.
