Bio
Mrs. Newsom was born and raised in Greenville, MS but has lived in the Jackson metro area since she graduated from high school. She attended Belhaven University and received a Bachelor's in Business Administration and her Master's in Business Administration. She is currently working on finishing her Master's of Arts in Teaching at Belhaven University. She has over 16 years in Banking experience, 5+ years in accounting experience, 7 years in education, and previously had a retail store named Something Sassy.
She and her husband, Sam, currently reside in the Brandon Reservoir area. They have 4 children: Shelby (31), Brandon (29), Anna Basile (14) and Hunter (11). She is the business manager, teaches Personal Finance, and is the assistant JV cheer coach at St. Joe. Her husband works at AT&T and coaches soccer for IFC and MSODP. Anna Basile attends here at St. Joe and Hunter attends St. Anthony. They both participate in multiple sports so most of their free time is spent on a field.
