Bio
Mrs. Candace Sigler is a 2015 graduate of the University of Mississippi, majoring in Elementary Education. She went on to receive her master’s degree in education from Mississippi College in 2018. Mrs. Sigler holds an AA teaching license from the state of Mississippi. She is licensed in all subjects K-6, General Science (7-12), Social Studies (7-12), and Special Education (K-12).
Mrs. Sigler has been teaching for eight years. Six of her eight were spent in the Madison County School District teaching upper elementary math and working in special education. Mrs. Sigler was named Teacher of the Year for her school in the 2020-2021 school year. Mrs. Sigler is a 2011 graduate of St. Joe and is excited to start her second year teaching at St. Joe. Mrs. Sigler has also taken on the role of head varsity cheer coach since returning.
Candace Sigler is married to Matthew Sigler, a fellow St. Joe alum and current employee. Together they have two boys, Carson (5) and Cooper (2). The Siglers are members of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison.
