Bio

Clay Weatherspoon, a dedicated athlete and coach, proudly hails from Ridgeland High School, where he not only graduated but also played a pivotal role in the team's journey to the state championship. His passion for sports led him to Southern Miss, where he furthered his education by earning both a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Kinesiology. During his time at Southern Miss, Clay excelled on the basketball court, dedicating five seasons to the team. Today, he serves as the Boys Basketball Assistant Coach and also holds the position of JV Boys Basketball Head Coach. An interesting tidbit about Clay is that he once played for his current Boys Basketball Head Coach, Michael Howell, back in middle school, showcasing his enduring love for the game.
