Bio

Mrs. Anne Piazza is a graduate of St. Joe, and an honors graduate of Mississippi State University. Initially, she began her career in the teaching field and realized her true passion was for helping others. She returned to school and received her master’s degree in counseling with honors from Mississippi College. Mrs. Piazza was affiliated with the public school system for 17 years as a high school guidance counselor. During this time, she was also a consultant for 15 years for Psycamore Psychiatric Programs as a leading therapist for adolescent and adult groups. Additionally, Mrs. Piazza owned a private practice for 17 years in Highland Village. She is starting her 10th year with St. Joe as the middle school counselor. Mrs. Piazza is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Nationally Certified School Counselor and Reality Therapy Certified.

 

Mrs. Piazza is married to Sam, her husband of 35 years. They have two adult children, Travis Pope and Clancy Piazza. She has one grandson, Tatum Pope, who she absolutely adores, and a French Bulldog named Moose. She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting friends and shopping in her free time.
