Bio
Mrs. Blanchard is a Jackson native and a 2013 graduate of St. Joe. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English Licensure from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2017. She taught ninth grade English for five years and now uses her love of stories, discussion, and the Catholic faith in her Theology III class, which focuses on the Sacraments and Morality. As campus minister, she helps students put their faith into action by supervising class retreats, service projects (including BruinThon), small faith groups, pro-life ministry, and more. Mrs. Blanchard is grateful to be part of such a wonderful school and community.
Mrs. Blanchard is married to Jordan, a fireman at Madison Fire Department, and they attend St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt where she is a lector and Eucharistic Minister and Jordan is a Knight of Columbus. They have a two-year-old son, Lucas, and are expecting their second child in February 2025. Mrs. Blanchard enjoys reading, listening to Catholic podcasts and Taylor Swift, watching Survivor, having coffee with friends, and spending time with her loved ones.
